Archbishop Fulton Sheen Podcast #2

For this week, Archbishop Sheen will discuss "Good and Evil.” This talk is fitting for all Catholic Christians, as most of the Catholic churches have done, or will do, a reconciliation service for the coming Christmas celebration. Good and Evil is a great topic to help us examine or conscience and prepare for glory that is to come on Christmas day!

Please feel free to comment here on the blog and also visit our website at www.catholicbiblestudyonline.com. Your input is greatly appreciated! Also, if you like this blog, get the word out - the more people we have here, the better!

So, with that being said, it is time to sit back and enjoy yet another pearl of wisdom from the great Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

Merry Christmas all and please have a wonderful Holiday season!

Archbishop Fulton Sheen Podcast #1

Because I am a firm believer in the timelessness of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen's message, the first series of podcasts/blogs will come from his "Life is Worth Living" series. This is a 50 part series and will take about 50 weeks to finish. I know it is long, but it is well worth it!

His first talk is called "Philosophy of Life." It is a wonderful message and it sets the tone for the other talks in his "life is worth living" series. This first podcast will give you a general idea of what is to come in the following weeks as well, so I hope you will enjoy his talks as much as I have.

To start the talk, just click on the title of this blog and then you can sit back, relax, and listen to the timeless message of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen.

Visit our website at: http://www.catholicbiblestudyonline.com/ to participate in the chat room.

catholicbiblestudyonline.com goes a-bloggin'

Welcome one and all!

The purpose of catholicbiblestudyonline.com (or "cbso" for short) is to devote an hour of our time to fellowship and prayer with other Catholic Christians from around the world. This page is devoted to the wonderful teachings of the Catholic faith and to the followers of Christ's church here on Earth.

The format for this Bible Study will consist of a 15 minute (or longer) podcast from the great teachers of our faith. The recordings will consist of talks by Father Larry Richards, Scott Hahn, Kimberly Hahn, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, and many many more.

During and after the talk you are invited to Join the discussion that will take place during the bible study podcast (through the blog or catholicbiblestudyonline.com's chat room). It is my hope that we can get together, in Christ, and dialogue about what we just heard.

The catholicbiblestudyonline.com blog and podcast was designed to aid and assist the mission of catholicbiblestudyonline.com, which is to promulgate the teachings of our Catholic faith. With that being said, we welcome and encourage non-Catholics, who truly want to know the truth about Catholicism, to actively participate as well.

I would like to encourage people who are not Catholic to come into the blog/podcast with an open mind and heart to what we are discussing. With that being said, at no time will I allow vulgar or profane comments to enter this discussion. If you are not here to Fellowship with other Catholic Christians or to listen to the opinions of others with an open heart and mind, then you will be requested to leave the chat at catholicbiblestudyonline.com and your blog comments will be removed.

God bless you all and let’s make this a fun and fruitful experience.
